Bishop Mary L. Simmons

Co-Pastor

Co-Pastor Simmons is the daughter of Mary A. Simmons and the late John Richardson. She was born and raised in New Bern ,North Carolina. She was married to the late Kadell Simmons. She is the proud mother of seven children. ( Six biological ,one adopted )

In 1960, Co-Pastor Simmons accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized with the Holy Ghost. The following year the Lord spoke to her to start a prayer meeting in he home. From that prayer group many were saved including the first Pastor of the church (Ralph Farrow) . Today she continues to be a woman of faith and prayer.

She has served as Co-Pastor at Rocky Run for the pass thirty-three years. She has served as prayer leader for the pass forty years. She attended the Undenominational Bible Institute and later enrolled a second time to further pursue Biblical studies. In 2009, she received her Bible Education diploma. Currently she is serving on the Board of directors for undenominational Bible Institute (UBI) and on the UPHC Elders Board. Recently Co-Pastor Simmons made history when she became one of the first females in the history of UPHC to be appointed as a Bishop.

Co-Pastor Simmons is an anointed woman of God. She is a woman of faith. She has relentlessly taken a stand on St. Mark 11:24 ; what things so ever ye desire ,when you pray believe that you receive them and you should have them. Nothing is impossible with God.
